 Have you ever seen jade green silk ? You can see the beautiful and impressive silk here. Wild silkworms make it; “Tensan” means “wild silkworm raising” . The production started in the late 18 th century. 緑の生糸 をご存じでしょうか？ 屋外で育てた蚕が作る生糸です。天蚕糸といいます が、「繊維のダイヤモンド」と例えられているそうですよ。 18 世紀後半に生産が始まりました。 The kimono (Japanese traditional clothes) made from Tensan silk is the finest good. 　天蚕糸は超高級品です。 Tensan cocoons  are put on the weaving machine. 機織り機とともに 天蚕の繭 が展示されていました。翡翠の色ですね。  Tensan silk products  are exhibited on the left, however most of them contain ordinary silk; it means Tensan silk is very precious.  The production process  is shown on the right. The staff kindly elaborated the exhibits.  展示室の左側に、様々な 天蚕製品 が展示されていますが、一部天蚕の着物がほとんどです。右側には、 製造工程 が展示されています。館員の方が、とても親切に説明してくださいました。  Silk yarn is pulled out from a perfect cocoon one by one, then seven yarns are twisted.  Hotaka in Azumino city of Nagano Prefecture is at the foot of the northern Japan Alps (high mountains).  The museum displays abundant everyday goods for working, cooking and so on. We can understand old local lives easily. Exhibits about Mr. Kobayashi, who opened a climbing route to Mt. Yari-ga-take (3180m, iconic peak of the Japan Alps), are distinctive.  安曇野市穂高地区（旧穂高町）は、北アルプスの麓 の町です。  資料館は穂高温泉郷の近くにあり、 仕事や生活の道具などがどっさりと展示 されていて、人々の暮らしが分かりました。安曇野から槍ヶ岳への道を開いた小林喜作さんに関する展示が特徴的です。  Farming equipment . After pouring water into rice fields, a farmer stood on “Konpeto” which was pulled by a horse in order to till. It was indigenous equipment.  まず、 農耕具 がどっさり。田に水を張った後、農夫は、馬に引かせたコンペト（車）に乗って、刈り敷を土中に踏み込みました。安曇野の工夫です。  Farmer’s living room . Straw mats surround the fire places. People cook, chat and meet visitors.  Hotaka Shrine is the regional shrine of Azumino and the northern Japan Alps in Nagano Prefecture. The museum is in the ground of Hotaka Shrine, and it introduces the festival of the shrine. It is called Ofune (boat) Matsuri (festival) . Azumi clan came here all the way from Kyushu Island. That's why the boat festival has been held in the mountainous area. The actual boat shaped float and the festival video show us the passion of Azumino people.  長野県の安曇野は北アルプスの麓です。その総鎮守・ 穂高神社の祭礼･御船祭を紹介する資料館 です。古代、安曇野に来た安曇族は、九州出身の海洋系の氏族で、その名残で山中にもかかわらず、船を使った祭りが行われているといわれています。実物の展示物とビデオを拝見すると、この土地の人たちのエネルギーが伝わってきます。   The buildings suitable to the regional shrine. アルプスの総鎮守にふさわしい拝殿です。 Ofune museum  is at the corner of the ground. 御船会館 は境内の一角にあります。  There are  two real floats in the exhibition room ; the child boat is at the left side and the adult one is at the right side.  It is an attached museum of an  onsen  (hot spring) facility in Nagano Prefecture. Although there are many  onsen  resorts in Japan, attached museums are rare. The photo above is  the entrance of  onsen  area .  日帰り温泉付属の“温泉博物館”です。珍しいですね。長野県大町市にあります。 上の写真は温泉への入り口 です。  The photo above is the  entrance of the museum area . Knowledge about  onsen , waters of various  onsen  and so on are exhibited.  こちらは、 博物館スペースの入口 。アルプス温泉博物館と表示されています。温泉のうんちくや湯ノ花などが展示されています。 Exhibits are placed around the comfortable resting area. 心地よい休憩スペース周りに展示されています。  The panels show  discoverers of  onsen  in various places.
