Arida city museum、有田市郷土資料館

Arida city is my home town which is around 90km south of the central Osaka. Arida is at the mouth of the Arida River which flows into the Pacific Ocean. Mandarin orange ( mikan ) trees are planted on the mountains at the opposite side of the sea; it is one of the main production areas of mandarin orange . I lived there when I was a child. There are two rooms in the museum; one is about local history, and another one is about mandarin orange. I took and uploaded photos under the approval of the museum office. 実は、私の祖父や父が生まれ育った土地、私も四年ほど住んでいました。 和歌山県有田市 は、有田川の河口でその先は紀伊水道(海)です。海の反対側はみかん山。大阪中心部から 90km ほど南、温暖な土地です。 資料館は、郷土資料館の部屋とみかん資料館の部屋に分かれています 。 資料館の許可を得て撮影、掲載しています。   Local history exhibition room 、郷土資料館 The history since the prehistoric age is elaborately explained. 有田の歴史が原始時代から丁寧に説明されています。 Many cultural assets since the medieval era are conserved  in the city. Jin-Buro Museum in Yuasa town、甚風呂(銭湯跡歴史資料館)と湯浅町(和歌山県)

Yuasa is the birthplace of soy sauce brewing . It is in Wakayama prefecture of western Japan. It is also designated as “ Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings” by the government. Jin-Buro was the public bathhouse in the town; it was established in the Edo period (1603 ~ 1868) and was operated until 1985. The building is open to the public as Jin-Buro (bathhouse) Museum. 和歌山県中部、海に面した湯浅町は、 醤油発祥の町 。重要伝統的建造物群保存地区に指定されています。その中に 江戸時代に創業し、昭和 60 年まで営業していた銭湯、甚風呂 さんが、銭湯跡歴史資料館として公開されています。   There are old building along narrow roads. 狭い道に沿って古風な建物が並びます。 There is a signboard of “Jin-Buro” at the corner of the alley. 路地の入口に、甚風呂さんの看板がありました。 Jin-Buro、甚風呂 Local pupils who joined the educational trip were at the entrance of Jin-Buro . 甚風呂さんの入口 。地元の小学生たちが見学に来ていました。 The entrance and the reception counter . MINABE Town UME Promotion Museum、みなべ町うめ振興館

Minabe town is in Wakayama prefecture of western Japan. Wakayama produces around 60% of ume which is Japanese plum . Minabe town is the center of ume production . One third of farmers produce ume and there is a ume section in Minabe town office, which was set up in 1973. Towners grow ume , manufacture ume products, and love ume . 梅の生産量の約六割を占めるという和歌山県、その中心地のみなべ町 。農家の 1/3 が梅農家で、 1973 年には、役所に「うめ課」ができました。梅作り、梅干などの製造、梅への愛が溢れています。 The museum (lower left) is surrounded by  ume  trees . There is a history and folklore exhibition room in the first floor, there is a  ume  exhibition room in the 2 nd  floor, and there is a roadside station at the third floor in which we can rest and can buy specialties.
