Ibaraki City is located between Kyoto and Osaka. This museum introduces
its history well, which includes the lives of ordinary people. However, there
aren’t many exhibits about the fun of the people. The books which I bought from
this museum introduce everyday life and fun in Ibaraki.
The big pan near the entrance was used when farmers were busy for harvesting or planting. People cooked together to reduce cooking work. I feel the strong bond of villagers to eat from the same pan, and I also respect them because they cooked well with this big pan and firewood.
