Methods of catching various kinds of fishes  are exhibited in the Hall B, which shape is similar to a gymnasium. Each method is explained elaborately using actual tools, photos and models. I introduced a dive fishing by ama female divers at Part 1. It’s also comprehensible; we can know how they fish and enjoy well. The title of the panel is “ The Japanese are ‘people of the sea ’.” It says, “ Japanese people have freely moved on the sea and have earned a living. We were maritime people .” It also shows a famous history scholar (Amino Yoshihiko), “The sea is a flexible barrier which separates Japanese Archipelago from the ocean. It also brings us rich seafood. Moreover, it is a traffic route to the world.” It's very crucial for Japanese. Btw, topless women are depicted on the picture above. It’s not matter for women in old days whether they were topless or not, I think. Toba is in Mie prefecture of central Japan. It has Ise Shrine which is dedicated to Amaterasu (a deity who is considered as the ancestor of the royal family). The region is rich in marine resources. The huge museum shows us the regional fishing culture and industry well. I divided into three parts below.
