The castle was burned by airstrike in 1945; the castle tower was rebuilt in 1959 and the palace was done in 2018 . The color of the interior is whitish not brown because it’s new. I impressively imaged the castles in the internal war time (16 th century) which would also be whitish. We cannot find any fun things for ordinary people. However, people in the Edo period (1603 ~ 1868) were proud of their castle where their lord was. There were around three hundreds of han (local autonomous government) and many of them had its own castle. Nagoya castle was one of the largest one at that time and I’m sure it met the expectation of the people in the territory. Btw we cannot enter the castle tower because the earthquake-resistance strength isn’t enough.
